Dennis Brunton, originally an Ottawa native has lived and entertained on both coasts of Canada and brings 30+ years of experience to his chosen craft . This singer/songwriter does both his own original music as well as a large repertoire of covers. Accompanying himself on guitar or keyboards, or playing as a duo with bass player Dave Desroches, he can perform a varied range of music from Classic Rock to Celtic, Traditional Scottish and Irish folk songs. His seasoned professionalism is shown in his stage presence and personality. His beautiful baritone voice displays itself very well when he performs his own songs, such as 'The Red Cliffs of the Island' and 'Tell My Lady', the title track from his latest CD or on classic rock songs like his reggae inspired version of 'House of the Rising Sun'.

While on the East Coast

Dennis relocated back to Ottawa in October 2002, after spending the last two years in the Maritimes. He has received airplay on CBC and other Maritime radio stations. While in Prince Edward Island,Dennis played a number of tourist resorts such as Spinnaker's Landing where he did a summer long run. It was a show full of songs from the Maritime area, accompanied by stories and some down East humor, with Dennis wearing his kilt to give the show an authentic Scottish feel. The Deckhouse Pub and the Stanley Bridge Resort, the Purple Parrot, The Emporium kitchen parties, Second Cup coffee shop, Fogarty's Cove(owned by Stan Rogers daughter Beth and husband Dave Gould), are a few more downeast venues he has performed at.

While on the West Coast

While living on the West Coast, in British Columbia, Dennis played the Pan Pacific Hotel (Vancouver), at the Park Royal Hotel (West Vancouver), The Crow's Nest (on top of Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver). He has played in pubs and restaurants from West Vancouver along the Sea to Sky highway to Whistler Village and Ski Resort. From the early 80's until May of 2000 he played many pubs and restaurants in the lower mainland and Greater Vancouver area such as ; The Seven Seas restaurant, Jack Lonsdale's pub, White Tower restaurant, The Arts Club in the Granville Island Market, The Lido Caberet in Harrison Hot Springs, to name a few.

From October of 2002, Dennis has performed in the Ottawa area as a single entertainer or as a duo with his bass playing partner Dave DesRoches. They have performed at Liam Maguires, Barley Mow (Barrhaven), Paddy's Pub in the Glebe, The Highlander Pub, The Cock and Bull, and Stout Bros.

Dave DesRoches

Born and raised on Prince Edward Island in the Maritimes, David has been performing professionally for over 25 years. Starting in the 70`s in several rock bands, he later began to diversify into pop, folk,R&B and recently Celtic music with the band "THE CELIEGH TRAIL". He teamed up with Dennis Brunton in 2002. David plays bass, mandolin, recorder, both 6 and 12 string guitars, as well as lead and backup vocals.
