They call their music Lounge Rock. A sort of Steely Dan meets Stevie Wonder and they jam with John Bonham and John Paul Jones. Formed in 1998 Big Newton was originally a cover band that moved onto recording their own material.Since realizing their own stuff was not only more fun to play but better recieved they switched to playing only their own songs live. This led to demand for and eventually the release of their first full length CD The Universe is Falling.
